    Doing some maintenance prior to @sportclassairraci Doing some maintenance prior to @sportclassairracing PRTC (race training) next week and I found a crack in the hydraulic pump reservoir. I figured while I have it out, overhaul the pump which I had actually not done on this airplane since I built it. I found the internal spool valve had been installed backwards at the factory. Thanks to @shodeypilot for the seal kit and great manual. My #3dprint AN caps working here. So handy to have around.. #lancair #lancairlegacy #homebuiltaircraft

    Last week I went back to our old stomping grounds, Last week I went back to our old stomping grounds, Stead Airport in Reno NV, to check up on Race #44 which I rebuilt a couple years ago. The airplane is in great shape and the engine is doing well. I only had time for a short test flight but it made the trip worth it. Getting to handle some of the most powerful @sportclassairracing race airplanes is a real treat. (when they run well anyway..) Thanks to @lcnmrv8r for coming along and getting it done!

    Tim @thetieprojectunlimited and I set up my ADI ta Tim @thetieprojectunlimited and I set up my ADI tank as a test bed for measuring flow rates on different types of nozzles.
